Lush has been working with a USA supplier since 2010 who takes care of the design, digital printing, and die cutting. The company prints the recycled cardboard with durable and decorative designs, so the boxes are just as suitable as gift wrapping as they are for storage.

After printing and die cutting, the boxes are packed flat on pallets and delivered to Lush's gift department and then folded by the hard working helpers. Since the boxes are delivered flat, we save transport costs and resources. The contents of 64 pallets with unfolded boxes fit on just six pallets. This reduces the CO2 balance for transport to a minimum.

The unfolded boxes are then filled with Ecoflo nuggets, the biodegradable packaging material from Lush USA. The corn starch pellets ensure that your sustainably sourced cosmetic products reach you safely.
